Thursday, April 23, 2026 – The JIC Spiritual Activity Unit, Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, held an Easter Service with the theme ” The Great Exchange; His Wounds Our New Beginnings ” which was held onsite on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at The UBM Lecture Hall with a total of approximately 80 participants consisting of students and alumni of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, and students of Matana University. The purpose of holding this event is for participants to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice as a great exchange. This moment is not just a historical commemoration, but a foundation for every student to ” Grow Stronger ” leaving behind old wounds and starting to live fruitfully in God with restored strength and hope.

The event began with an opening by the MCs, Virginia Ruvita and Cristian Chaw, who greeted the participants present that day, followed by remarks from the Student Affairs Division and the Chairperson of the Committee, Estefania Widia Diandra . Then, it entered the Praise and Worship session by WL Chesillia Chatrin and Singers Angel Madeline and Florencia Devina . It was followed by a sharing session by speaker Echa Soemantri .

After the sharing session, there was a question and answer session guided by the MC and continued with a prayer of blessing by the Speaker. It is hoped that this Easter service can be a forum for students to understand the meaning of Easter, namely that the old life full of sin, mistakes and worldly attachments has passed and been replaced with a life renewed by the power of Christ. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5 (ESV) “But he was pierced for our rebellion, he was bruised for our iniquity; the chastisement that brought us salvation was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” This activity ended with intercession, documentation and closed by the MC.

Finally, all the series of Easter activities went well, we would like to thank BKM, advisors, speakers, BPH Alumni, BPH JIC Serpong Campus Period 2025/2026, the committee and the participants for their willingness to spend their time, energy, and cooperation to enliven this Easter with the theme ” The Great Exchange; His Wounds Our New Beginnings”.
