Jakarta, May 10, 2025 – The Christian Religious Activity Unit (UKR) of the Jakarta International Congregation (JIC) at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus successfully held its Easter celebration themed “ETERNAL LOVE” on Friday, May 2, 2025. The event took place at The UBM Hall (TUH), 8th floor of UBM Ancol Campus, and was attended by approximately 280 students from UBM Ancol Campus.
This event aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of the eternal love of Christ. Through the Word of God and the message delivered by the speaker, students were encouraged to find inspiration and motivation to live a life aligned with the teachings of Christ. The event was not merely ceremonial but designed to create a meaningful spiritual experience for all participants.
In line with the theme, participants were invited to reflect on the resurrection of Christ and how His love conquered death and offers eternal life to His people. The message was centered on Romans 10:9–10, highlighting three main points: love that conquers death, boundless love, and eternal love. It is hoped that Christian students at UBM can better understand, embody, and share the love of Christ in their daily lives.
The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by the singing of the UBM March and the Indonesian national anthem. Opening remarks were delivered by the Head of the Easter Committee and JIC Supervisor. The program continued with a session of Pray, Praise, and Worship, followed by the Easter Love Offering 2025.
The highlight of the event was the preaching of the Word by Yeshua Abraham Santoso, followed by a Q&A session and a door prize for the best question. A token of appreciation was then presented to the speaker by Anastasya Louwbry, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., representing BKM.
We express our deepest gratitude to BKM, supervisors, the speaker, the JIC Executive Board of Ancol Campus for the 2024/2025 period, the committee, and all participants for their time, effort, and collaboration in making this event a success.
