An esteemed event in the culinary domain, the Regional-level Student Competency Competition (LKS) in Food & Beverage (F&B) specializing in Patisserie and Confectionery products will once again take place on Monday, April 29, 2024. Seven outstanding students from East Jakarta (SMK Sahid, SMK Bina Nusantara, SMK Adiluhur, SMK Paramitha, SMK Paskita Global, SMKN 66, SMKN24) will compete to hone their skills in creating high-quality pastry and confectionery products. This event aims to stimulate learning and competition among students of the Hospitality & Tourism Vocational High School (SMK) program, providing a golden opportunity for participants to demonstrate their expertise and creativity in crafting delicious and visually appealing patisserie and confectionery products.
In this competition, participants will be evaluated on their abilities in three stages: preparation, processing, and the final outcome of their products. A panel of judges comprising practitioners and academics in the field of Culinary Arts will rigorously assess each stage of the competition. The appointment of Sir Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara, S.Pd. M.Par., as one of the jury members is a strategic step to ensure objective and industry-standard evaluation. This competition is not merely a contest but also a platform for students to cultivate their talents and skills in the rapidly evolving culinary world.
