Jakarta, February 13, 2025 — Community Service (PKM) activities with the theme Positive Thinking were successfully held on Friday, February 13, 2025, at 09.00–11.45 WIB at the Head Office of PT. Datascript, Jl. Selarapang Block B15 Kav.9, Kemayoran Complex, Central Jakarta. This activity is intended for employees, especially the Distribution Division of PT. Datascript, as a form of academic contribution in supporting the improvement of the quality of human resources in the work environment. This activity was led by Dr. Kurnadi Gularso, SE, MM (NIDN: 0326056603) as the chief executive, with team members Dr. Velly Anatasia, SE, MBA (NIDN: 0325029001) and involving students Denny Timothy Dian Priesta (NIM: 81250004). This program is one of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through collaboration between academics and the industrial world. In practice, the material presented focused on understanding the basic concept of positive thinking and its application in the workplace. The resource person explained that a positive mindset plays a crucial role in helping individuals manage work pressure, build mental resilience, and improve the quality of relationships with coworkers. The material also emphasized that how a person views a problem significantly impacts their emotions, behavior, and overall work performance.

In addition to theoretical explanations, participants also received practical materials in the form of reframing techniques, namely changing perspectives from negative to more constructive thoughts, building self-affirmations to increase work motivation, and the importance of supportive communication within a team. Through real-life case examples taken from everyday work situations, participants were invited to understand how a positive mindset can help face work targets, operational pressures, and teamwork dynamics more adaptively. Throughout the activity, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm through active involvement in the material presentation sessions and interactive discussions. The material presented emphasized the importance of a positive mindset in dealing with work pressure, managing stress, building supportive communication, and increasing individual and team productivity. In the discussion session, participants shared experiences related to work challenges and target pressures that often affect motivation. Through an interactive lecture approach and real-life case studies, participants gained new insights into techniques for reframing negative thoughts, building self-affirmations, and creating a more collaborative and constructive work environment.

The activity took place interactively with high participant enthusiasm. This was evident in the active involvement of participants in the discussion and question and answer session, where several participants shared experiences regarding work challenges they faced. The discussion demonstrated a shared awareness that a healthy work environment depends not only on organizational policies, but also on the attitudes and contributions of each individual. Furthermore, this activity had an impact in the form of increased awareness of participants regarding the importance of individual attitudes in forming a positive work culture. It is hoped that through the consistent application of positive thinking , employees can improve their psychological well-being and work productivity, thereby supporting sustainable organizational performance. Overall, this PKM activity had an initial impact in the form of increased understanding and awareness of participants regarding the importance of a positive mindset in supporting work productivity and psychological well-being. It is hoped that the knowledge gained can be applied sustainably so as to build a more supportive, collaborative, and productive work environment at PT. Datascript.
