Jakarta, January 29, 2026 — The Christian Spiritual Activity Unit Jesus In My Campus (JIC) Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus held a 2025 Christmas Service with the theme “IGNITE: Born to Burn Bright” on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the 8th floor of The UBM Grand Auditorium. This activity was attended by around 600 participants consisting of students of UBM Ancol Campus. This Christmas celebration aims to strengthen the togetherness of the academic community, reflect on the love of Christ as the Light of the World, and build a community of faith that is able to be a bearer of light amidst the challenges of the times.

The Christmas service featured Pastor Victor Abraham, who delivered a sermon based on themes and Bible passages, including John 12:46 and Matthew 5:14–16. In his delivery, he emphasized the meaning of Christ’s incarnation as light coming into the world, the call to live as children of light, and the invitation to be a positive influence through faith, hope, and love in everyday life. Participants were encouraged to understand that Christmas is not just a celebration, but a call to let the light of Christ shine and be realized through concrete actions.

The series of events began with an opening praise by the Worship Leader and The VOU, followed by a welcome speech, a Pray, Praise, and Worship session, a sermon, a Christmas Carol, a candlelight vigil, a screening of the 2025 Christmas Action of Love video, and a dance performance from the JIC Dance Team. All activities took place in an orderly and solemn manner. The committee expressed its appreciation to BKM, UKR Supervisor Mr. Manongga Bryan Christian SE, MM, Ps. Victor Abraham, all committee members, performers, and participants who have contributed to the success of this activity, with the hope that in the future JIC can continue to present spiritual activities that have a positive impact on students and the campus environment.
