Serpong, September 11, 2026 – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) through the UBM Esport Student Activity Unit proudly held the UBM Esport Serpong 2026/2027 Meet and Greet event on Friday, September 11, 2026, in classrooms 1408–1409 of the UBM Tower, Serpong Campus. This event took place from 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM WIB. The event was attended by 112 participants, consisting of active students, new members, and alumni of the UBM Esport Student Activity Unit. The large number of participants showed high enthusiasm for the development of the esports community on campus. The Meet and Greet activity became the official forum to introduce the new UBM Esport management for the 2026/2027 period. This introduction was not just an announcement of the organizational structure, but also a form of commitment of the new management in carrying out the organization’s vision and mission. Through this opportunity, the new management conveyed its strategic direction, work program, and hopes for leading UBM Esports to greater achievements in the future.
At this event, the committee presented material on the main game disciplines that will be the focus of the UBM Esports competition. This presentation provided a clear overview of the areas that will be seriously addressed, both within the context of internal and external competitions. With this explanation, participants gained an understanding of the direction of community development and were able to contribute to achieving performance targets. This momentum was further enhanced by a sharing session. The alumni session was presented by Monica, Chair of UBM Esports for the 2024/2025 period , and Hensen, Deputy Chair of UBM Esports for the 2025/2026 period . The presence of these two alumni provided significant added value, as they shared leadership experiences, organizational development strategies, and the challenges faced in building an esports community on campus. Through this session, it is hoped that both new management and active members will gain inspiration and motivation, while strengthening cross-generational bonds within the organization.
Not only focusing on formal aspects, this activity also featured interactive activities in the form of a hero-guessing game. This game was designed to bond among members, create a more intimate atmosphere, and strengthen a sense of togetherness within the community. This activity allowed participants to interact more casually, thereby strengthening relationships between members and enabling the organization to run with a strong sense of kinship. With 112 participants in attendance, the UBM Esport Serpong 2026/2027 Meet and Greet proved to be a highly anticipated event. The enthusiasm of the participants reflected the students’ strong interest in the world of esports and demonstrated their full support for the organization’s sustainability.
Through a series of planned activities, UBM Esports affirms its commitment to continuously fostering student interest and talent in esports. Support from the academic community , alumni, and all members of the esports community will be a crucial factor in driving UBM Esports’ continued growth and achievement. With a spirit of togetherness and solid collaboration, UBM Esports is optimistic about achieving impressive results, both nationally and internationally, and contributing to building a highly competitive young generation in the digital era.
