
International Webinar SDG 5 Gender Equality
Lecturers of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University participated in the International Webinar on Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs, specifically SDG 5 on Gender Equality. This activity raised the theme “Lead, Inspire, and Transform: Empowering the Next Generation for Gender Equality.” This international webinar was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 02.00 PM, online via Zoom Meeting. This activity served as a forum for discussion, education, and inspiration for participants in understanding the importance of gender equality in social life, education, and the world of work.
Through this activity, participants are encouraged to understand the role of the younger generation in leading, inspiring, and bringing about positive change. Gender equality is a crucial part of sustainable development because it relates to equal rights, opportunities, and participation for all.
The participation of lecturers from the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University in this webinar is also a form of support for the achievement of SDG 5. This activity is expected to broaden academic horizons, increase awareness of gender issues, and encourage cross-sector collaboration in creating a more just, inclusive, and sustainable environment.
