Jakarta, November 14, 2025 – The iCare Student Activity Unit at Ancol Campus successfully held a Journaling Workshop entitled “Hearts in Harmony: Pages of Self” in Room 504, UBM Ancol Campus. Thirty-nine participants, all of whom are Bunda Mulia University students, attended the workshop.
The workshop began with a presentation by Ms. Sherly S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist , who explained the concept of journaling as a means of self-reflection, emotional management, and increasing self-awareness. In her presentation, Ms. Sherly introduced 25 reflection questions designed to help participants explore emotions, personal experiences, sources of stress, and personal potential. These questions then served as the main guideline for the practical sessions.

Following the theoretical presentation, participants continued with a journaling practice using a prepared journaling kit . The kit contained journal pages, stickers, decorative paper, and other creative supplies that allowed participants to express themselves personally. The workshop atmosphere was warm and conducive, providing students with the opportunity to delve deeper into their thoughts and feelings.

After the writing session, Miss Sherly invited three participants to share their journal entries. Each participant explained their creative process, the reflective experiences they experienced, and the personal meaning of their journal pages. This moment served as both a space for appreciation and inspiration, showcasing the diverse ways in which participants expressed themselves authentically.

This activity is designed to help students understand themselves, channel their emotions healthily, and develop a habit of sustained reflection. Through journaling, participants are expected to create a balance between thoughts and feelings and apply this practice in their daily lives.

The “Hearts in Harmony: Pages of Self” Journaling Workshop was a success thanks to the support of the Student Council (BKM), the iCare mentors, and the dedication of the entire committee. This activity is expected to continue inspiring Bunda Mulia University students to maintain their mental health, strengthen solidarity, and have a positive impact on their surroundings. iCare, weCare!
