Jakarta, October 21, 2025 Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM), through the Digital Business and Management Study Programs, successfully held an External Seminar at TUH Lat 7, UBM Ancol Campus. The event featured two guest speakers from MarkPlus Inc., namely Jul Darmawan (Business Development Strategist) and Giovanni Alexander (Product Manager, MarkPlus Institute), both of whom are renowned for their expertise in marketing innovation and business transformation.
Carrying the theme “AI-Powered Marketing: Transforming Digital Content into Consumer Engagement”, the seminar aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can revolutionize digital marketing strategies through data-driven storytelling and personalized consumer experiences.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Lelly Christin, S.E., M.M., Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanities 2 (FISH 2) at UBM, emphasized that AI should not be seen as a replacement for human creativity but as a tool that enhances insight, precision, and creative efficiency. “Through this seminar, we want students to realize that AI can serve as a creative partner that strengthens digital storytelling making it more relevant, personalized, and impactful in today’s data-driven marketing landscape,” she said.
The seminar was attended by more than 263 participants from both the Digital Business and Management study programs, along with a number of external participants. The collaboration with MarkPlus Inc. provided students with valuable insights on AI integration in digital marketing, especially in creating engaging content that drives consumer loyalty.
Interactive sessions between speakers and participants made the seminar highly engaging, as students explored real-world applications of AI in campaign design, analytics, and content personalization. The event concluded with a plaque handover ceremony to both speakers as a token of appreciation.

The organizing committee was led by Agung Stefanus Kembau, S.E., M.B.A., CPM as Event Chair and Advisor of EXODUS (Digital Business Student Association), supported by Derick Raditya as Vice Chair, Jesslyn Emmanuel Anroca as Project Manager, and Chelsea Alicia Saputra as Deputy Project Manager. Student committees played an active role throughout the event, reflecting UBM’s commitment to experiential and collaborative learning.
Through this event, UBM once again reaffirmed its mission of “Bridging Education to The Real World”, by connecting academic learning with professional practice to prepare students for the ever evolving digital business landscape.
