The Excellent Community of Management (XCM) – Serpong Campus successfully held the 2025 Soft Skills Training on June 16, 2025, at Alfa Resort, Bogor. This annual event aimed to strengthen relationships among members, enhance soft skills, and support the regeneration process of XCM’s organizational leadership. All activities were enthusiastically attended by 37 XCM members and accompanied by two faculty advisors, Ms. Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M and Ms. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M.
The event began at 2:00 PM WIB at Alfa Resort, Bogor. Participants were divided into three groups to play a series of games prepared by the organizing committee. The first game was “Grab The Things”, a team game where the committee would call out a specific body part that participants had to touch. Each team then quickly discussed and sent one member to grab an item placed in the center. The fastest and most accurate team would earn points. This game was designed to train team communication, improve cohesion, and build trust among members. It also encouraged teamwork, quick decision-making, and created a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.
The next game was “Riddles”, which led to a paper airplane challenge. Based on the riddle read by the committee, participants had to find the correct answer and create paper airplanes using origami paper. After solving the riddle, each team faced a challenge to fly their paper airplanes and land them precisely in a target circle. If the airplane missed, they had to try again until successful. This game encouraged accuracy, coordination, and patience, while also boosting fun and teamwork.
The following game was “Collect The Balloons”, held in the swimming pool. The committee scattered water balloons in the pool, and each team lined up in three rows outside the pool. One by one, players jumped into the pool with a basin and had 10 seconds to collect as many balloons as possible. Once time was up, they passed the basin to the next teammate. This continued until all members had a turn. The team with the most balloons at the end was declared the winner. This game emphasized strategy, cooperation, and agility.
The final game session featured “Sing or Get Dunked”, where teams lined up and the first three members stood at the pool’s edge with their backs to the water, held by the committee. The MC played a song and suddenly stopped it. Participants had to quickly and correctly continue the lyrics. The fastest correct answer saved the participant, while those who were wrong or too slow were dropped into the pool. This game was both fun and nerve-racking, testing reflexes, courage, and team spirit in a cheerful setting.
After all the games concluded, the MC announced the winners starting from third place to first. The atmosphere became even livelier as the winning teams were called forward to receive the prizes prepared by the committee as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm and teamwork. After the prize distribution, all participants and committee members gathered for a group photo to conclude the event and capture the memorable moments of this fun and heartwarming soft skills training.
Through this activity, we hope that all participants gained meaningful experiences not only by strengthening social bonds, but also by enhancing soft skills and finding motivation to continue contributing actively within the organization. This series of events laid a vital foundation for building synergy, regeneration, and strong, sustainable leadership for the future.
