Tangerang, May 10, 2025 – The JIC Christian Student Ministry of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, held a service for the Ascension of Jesus Christ and a Revival Service (KKR) with the theme “Christ Ascended: A Promise of Hope and Eternal Presence.” The event took place on Friday, May 9, 2025, in rooms R1408-1409, UBM Tower, and was attended by 50 participants consisting of students from Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus. The purpose of this event was to remind students of Bunda Mulia University that through Christ’s resurrection, there is deliverance from sin, leading His people toward sanctification and eternal life, as well as a call to serve the Lord faithfully and obediently as His servants.

The event began with a Praise and Worship session led by worship leaders: Marshanny, Hans Hodianto, and Melvina Vanisa Candra. It was followed by the Gospel and Prayer Session, delivered by the speaker Mr. Boyke Pakpahan, S. Th. After the Gospel and Prayer Session, the announcement segment took place, hosted by MCs Cristabell Chandra and Virginia Ruvita Sarlina N. Through this Ascension Day Service and Spiritual Awakening Service, it is hoped that students will come to understand that the meaning of Christ’s Ascension is that God wants us to receive eternal life and be free from sin and death through His death and resurrection. The event concluded with a closing prayer and final remarks by the MCs.

In conclusion, the entire series of the Ascension Day Service and Spiritual Awakening Service ran smoothly. We extend our gratitude to the advisor, speaker, JIC Serpong Campus Executive Committee for the 2024/2025 period, and all participants for their time, effort, and cooperation in enlivening this event with the theme “Christ Ascended: A Promise of Hope and Eternal Presence.”
