XCM Care at “Bukit Karmel Orphanage” “Synergy in Motion: Building a Stronger Team for a Brighter Future”

XCM CARE, a social initiative from XCM, was conducted with the intention of supporting and giving attention to the children at Bukit Karmel Orphanage. With the theme “Synergy in Motion: Building Stronger Teams for a Brighter Future,” the program aims to provide material and non-material assistance, and create hope and happiness for children in need. XCM CARE understands the various limitations faced by children in orphanages, such as access to education and health. Therefore, this program was held to help create a more caring and inclusive society. This activity was held at Bukit Karmel Orphanage located in Cipayung Datar, Megamendung Sub-district, Bogor Regency, West Java.

However, on the day of the event, Saturday, July 20, 2024, XCM CARE were canceled due to some  technical issues. The event was planned to coincide with the return trip from Alfa Resort to UBM Ancol. Unfortunately, on the day, the road to Bukit Karmel Orphanage was closed and inaccessible, so the XCM team had to consider other alternatives. Walking 10 km with donated equipment and goods was not feasible, and the orphanage did not have a driver to pick them up on that day.

In response to the situation, XCM CARE decided to send the donated items via cargo service to Bukit Karmel Orphanage. Despite not being able to interact directly with the children on that day, XCM ensured that the aid arrived safely and on time. This step shows XCM’s commitment in helping the children of the orphanage, despite facing logistical constraints.

This program not only provides material support, but also builds awareness and a sense of social responsibility in creating a brighter future for the children at the orphanage. With the spirit of togetherness and collaboration, XCM CARE hopes to continue to make a positive contribution to children and the surrounding community.
