UBM Student Leadership Training: HIMA of Informatics, Information Systems, and Data Science Hosts “Adaptive Leadership: Dare to Make a Change”

Tangerang, May 14, 2025 — In an effort to equip students with relevant and adaptive leadership skills in the digital era, the Student Association (HIMA) of the Informatics, Information Systems, and Data Science Study Programs at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) held a series of Student Leadership Management Training (Latihan Kepemimpinan Manajemen Mahasiswa – LKMM) activities under the theme “Adaptive Leadership: Dare to Make a Change.”

This program consists of two main events conducted in May 2025:

• Leadership Seminar: “Adaptive Leadership”
  Date: May 14, 2025
  Venue: Lecture Hall, Universitas Bunda Mulia
  Keynote Speaker: Mr. Denny Yosep – Training & Development Manager at PT Sinar Sosro

In this seminar, participants were introduced to the significance of adaptive leadership in navigating rapid changes, the complexities of the modern workforce, and current socio-technological challenges. Mr. Denny Yosep shared his insights and practical experiences on cultivating leaders who are resilient, flexible, and courageous enough to drive meaningful change.

• Leadership Training Camp
  Date: May 20–21, 2025
  Venue: Alfa Resort, Puncak, Bogor

The second event will be an intensive, outdoor leadership training camp designed to enhance students’ teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under challenging conditions. Through simulations and team-building activities, participants are expected to discover their leadership potential and develop into inspirational future leaders.

This initiative reflects the commitment of HIMA of Informatics, Information Systems, and Data Science at UBM to support the holistic development of students by strengthening their soft skills in line with the evolving demands of the professional world.
