On Saturday, July 6, 2024, the Management Distance Learning Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia held a “SPSS Data Processing Application Training.”
This event was organized to educate and train students of the Management Distance Learning Program who are currently working on their theses this semester, so that they can process research data using the appropriate application and produce quality research.
The event began with an introduction to the training instructor, Mr. Andreas Wijaya, S.E., M.M. The training session started promptly at 08:00 WIB with a total of 14 participants. The training session began with the delivery of basic theories on data processing and the SPSS application concept. Mr. Andreas Wijaya presented the material interactively with the students before moving on to the use of the application.
Entering the session on application introduction and research data analysis, it started with a case example that had been prepared, followed by the steps of data processing, starting with drawing the research model, validity-reliability tests, group difference tests, and classical assumption tests such as normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and then followed by a Q&A session about the application.
The training was conducted with two-way communication, where students and the trainer could engage in discussions and ask questions. Overall, this data processing application training went smoothly, and the students were actively engaged throughout the training with various questions, which will support their research analysis, especially for the theses they are working on.
