The Accounting Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Kampus Ancol held a Community Service Program (PKM) with the theme “Structure and Key Components of Corporate Governance.” The event was attended by 12 employees from the administration and finance departments of SMK Pelita Raya Kota Jambi, held virtually via Google Meet on Friday, January 10th 2025, from 09.00 to 10.30 WIB.

This event featured two main speakers from Universitas Bunda Mulia, Miss Catheryn Iona Nelson, S.Ak., M.Ak and Dr. Ernie Riswandari, S.E., M.Si who presented material on the importance of an effective organizational structure, management responsibilities, and the principles of transparency and accountability in corporate operations. This discussion was highly relevant in helping participants manage the administration and finances of educational institutions more professionally.

The event began with an opening and registration led by Viorene, a 6th-semester student from the Accounting Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia. The session continued with presentations on good corporate governance by Miss Catheryn and Dr. Ernie. After the presentations, an interactive Q&A session took place. The participants were highly enthusiastic in asking questions, especially regarding the implementation of good governance practices in their work environments. The event concluded with a group documentation session between the speakers and participants as the closing of the event.

The entire Community Service Program (PKM) ran smoothly and provided valuable insights for the participants. We would like to express our gratitude to the Faculty Members of the Accounting Study Program and to the participants who took part in this event.
