Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – The Student Association of the Management Study Program, Excellent Community of Management (XCM) Ancol Campus, successfully organized an Industrial Visit to PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (PT HMMI) as part of an effort to provide students with practical insights into the automotive industry, particularly in vehicle manufacturing processes. The event was attended by 57 students and Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., M.M., as the faculty advisor of XCM UBM Ancol Campus.
The participants departed from Universitas Bunda Mulia at 07:00 AM after completing registration at the designated meeting point. The journey to PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia went smoothly, and participants arrived at the location at 08:40 AM, where they were welcomed by company representatives who provided guidance on visit procedures and regulations. Subsequently, the participants were directed to the briefing room in the main building to receive a presentation on the company profile, its vision and mission, and an overview of Hyundai’s vehicle manufacturing process.
After the factory tour, participants returned to the meeting room for a Q&A session led by representatives of PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. In this session, students had the opportunity to explore in greater depth the technology used in the production process, Hyundai’s strategies in facing global automotive industry competition, and the importance of innovation in creating high-quality vehicles. The event concluded with a group documentation session within the factory area before participants returned to Universitas Bunda Mulia.
Through this industrial visit, students of the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus are expected to gain valuable insights and experience regarding vehicle manufacturing processes, the application of technology in the automotive industry, and the importance of quality control to ensure products meet industry standards. This activity also serves as a direct learning opportunity for students to understand the dynamics of the working world and the automotive industry, in line with XCM’s commitment to enhancing student competencies in management and Universitas Bunda Mulia’s (UBM) tagline, “Bridging Education to the Real World.”
