On October 23, 2023 – October 24, 2023, the Student Association of the Management Study Program “Excellent Community of Management (XCM)” held a Tutorial class for the third semester students to help prepare for the Mid-Semester Exams (UTS) for the Odd Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
There were two courses held in this Tutorial class: the MNB09 – Macroeconomics course for the third semester and MNC38 – Financial Management course for the third semester.
he Financial Management Tutorial was conducted in two sessions. The first session was held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 15:30 to 17:10 WIB, onsite in Classroom R603, with the instructor Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., M.M. (L2094), a faculty member of the Management Study Program. The session began with Mr. Elkunny explaining the material from the PowerPoint slides and solving examples of problems related to the Macroeconomics course. After explaining the examples, the instructor actively asked which parts of the material were still considered difficult or unclear by the students and explained those sections again.
The second session, the Financial Management Tutorial, took place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 11:30 to 13:10 WIB, onsite in Classroom R602, with instructor Andry Budyanto (12210120) from the fifth semester. The instructor started by presenting practice problems and explaining the correct methods to solve them. He also actively asked the students which parts of the material they had not understood or if there were any parts of the practice problems that needed further clarification, and explained those areas until the students understood and the material was sufficiently reviewed.
It is hoped that the Mid-Semester Tutorial activities for the Odd Semester 2023/2024 will expand knowledge and be beneficial for the students of the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia. This event also served as additional learning support in preparation for the UTS. We hope that this Tutorial activity will continue to be held effectively and remain beneficial.
