The Management Study Program at UBM Serpong Campus held a series of Non-Incidental Community Service activities on December 16, 2024, and January 20, 2025, conducted online. The event involved around 60 employees from PT Accelist Lentera Indonesia as participants and partners, organized through the company’s “I Love Monday” program, which is regularly held by the HR Department every Monday.
In the first session, Dr. Tri Adhitya Basuki, S.E., M.A.P., CFrA., GRCP., GRCA., CHRMP, a lecturer from the UBM Management Study Program, was the speaker and led a sharing session on the topic “Leading Generation Z in the Workplace.” This session began by discussing the issues faced by Gen Z in the workplace, including the phenomenon of drama in the workplace and problems that make Gen Z feel dissatisfied. Several factors, such as a lack of development opportunities, a rigid work environment, and an exclusive company culture, were discussed in depth. Additionally, the speaker explored the diverse characteristics of Gen Z, who are tech-savvy and possess an entrepreneurial mindset. The participants were encouraged to understand the factors that could cause Gen Z to stay with or leave the company.
In the second session, Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, S.E., M.M., a lecturer from the UBM Management Study Program, was the speaker and presented a session on the topic “Understanding MBTI Personality in the Workplace.” The participants gained an understanding that MBTI is beneficial in helping individuals comprehend their natural preferences in processing information and making decisions. By recognizing their personality type, individuals can better understand their strengths and weaknesses, as well as how they tend to interact with others and their environment.
All of these PKM activities went smoothly and are expected to provide valuable insights for the company and professionals who wish to better understand how to lead and manage Generation Z in the workplace.
