Tangerang – On April 5, 2023, the Computer Science Study Program at Kampus Serpong, in collaboration with the Alumni and Career Center (ACC) department of UBM and PT. Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera (LAWSON), held an industry visit to Lawson with the theme “Digital Mobile in Retail Industry”. The event, which took place at UBM Kampus Serpong and the LAWSON office, was enthusiastically attended by fourth-semester computer science students.
The event, which lasted for about two and a half hours, discussed the journey of Lawson from its establishment until now, the development of LAWSON technology in the current digital industry era, the work atmosphere in the LAWSON environment, as well as tips and tricks for students to prepare themselves for the working environment. The material, knowledge, and introduction to the world of work were very interesting to the participants because the topics were very relevant and quite popular among computer science students.
The Computer Science Study Program invited Kak Yoga Prabawa, IT Manager of PT. Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera (LAWSON), as a speaker for this event. Equipped with knowledge and experience, Kak Yoga provided many insights into the world of software development. Participants also had the opportunity to tour the LAWSON office! The participants were very enthusiastic and active in listening to the material, participating in the activities, and asking questions and discussing with LAWSON.
