Jakarta, April 15, 2025 – To enhance students’ understanding of personal branding and creative content marketing, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia conducted a community service activity (PKM) at the Ancol Campus. Students from SMK Mardi Yuana, Bogor, participated. The event featured Dr. Velly Anastasia, S.E., M.B.A., a lecturer from the Management Study Program as key speaker, and Kayleen Mieko Torhuta – 12240232, a student member of the Excellent Community of Management.

The on-site PKM involved an introduction, material presentation, a product promotion practice session by participants, and concluded with the selection of winners and the distribution of goodie bags. Dr. Velly Anastasia, S.E., M.B.A.’s presentation ran from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Her session emphasized the importance of personal branding for young people, particularly those active in the digital world and interested in content creation. The material covered the definition of creative content marketing, key elements of content creation, and how to tailor content to social media audiences to maintain engagement.
Participants then engaged in group-based product promotion content creation using provided products. This hands-on experience provided practical application in designing creative marketing communication strategies. Each group presented their work to the speakers and other participants. Student participants actively assessed their peers’ content. This fostered creativity, boosted self-confidence, developed critical thinking, and promoted appreciation for creative ideas.

Participant enthusiasm was evident throughout, particularly during the product promotion practice, which stimulated creativity and collaboration. Goodie bags were awarded to the group with the most engaging and effective promotional content, based on points awarded by the student judges. This memorable closing enhanced participants’ motivation to develop their digital marketing skills.
This activity provided practical insights into building a positive self-identity and creating effective creative content. The hands-on experience is intended to enable participants to apply their knowledge in daily life and prepare them for professional careers.
