The Management Study Program, together with the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), has successfully held a lecture on the topic “Technology Trends in Human Resources Science and Professional Business” on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The public lecture was held at The UBM Hall (TUH) 8th floor, Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus. This lecture was mandatory for students enrolled in the Human Resource Management course. The lecture material was presented by Mrs. Tantri, S.Psi, M.Si, the Founder of Xperteam Consultant, who has assisted hundreds of companies both in Indonesia and abroad through business management focused on human resources. The company has also become part of Byond Tech Global and has a branch in Malaysia.
The lecture began at 3:30 PM with an opening speech by Mrs. Sophia Reni Susilo, S.E., M.M., the Secretary of the Management Study Program, followed by a reading of the speaker’s CV and the presentation of the material. Mrs. Tantri, S.Psi, M.Si’s session started with an introduction and sharing her extensive experience in the field of Human Resources and consulting business, then she proceeded to discuss how technology significantly affects HR functions and effectiveness. She explained the types of technology trends, HR technology tools, and their impact on the current state of human resource management and business, related to the implementation of HR technology in the industry led by her company. The presentation was interactive and not only discussed theory but was also explained through practical field examples.
After the presentation session, the event continued with the presentation of a Token of Appreciation to Mrs. Tantri, S.Psi, M.Si, the speaker, by Mrs. Sophia Reni Susilo, S.E., M.M., the Secretary of the Management Study Program. The lecture concluded with the completion of evaluation forms and a group photo with all the participants. A total of 230 participants attended the lecture.
By holding this general lecture, it is hoped that the participants will gain knowledge and understanding of the role of technology in human resource management.
