General Lecture on Career Management “Navigating the Professional World: A Guide for Fresh Graduates”

On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, the Management Study Program and the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), in collaboration with the Alumni & Career Center Department and Jebsen & Jessen, successfully organized a General Lecture on Career Management with the theme “Navigating the Professional World: A Guide for Fresh Graduates.” This event was held onsite at The UBM Seminar Room, Universitas Bunda Mulia, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM WIB. The General Lecture began with an opening delivered by Evelyn Angelica and Jovanka Imelda as the Masters of Ceremony who guided the event. It was followed by the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Universitas Bunda Mulia Mars.

After singing Indonesia Raya and the Universitas Bunda Mulia Mars, the event continued with a welcome speech by Mrs. Sophia Reni Susilo, S.E., M.M., as the Secretary of the Management Study Program. This was followed by the signing of a collaboration agreement between Jebsen & Jessen and Universitas Bunda Mulia.

The event then proceeded to the material presentation session by Mr. Raja Tinjo Hotmarasi, S.T., Head of Renewable Energy-JJLAPP, who served as the speaker for this general lecture. During the material presentation session, Mr. Raja first introduced himself briefly and gave a welcome speech to the attendees. He then moved on to his presentation, explaining the next steps that students could take after graduating, such as becoming entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, professionals, or pursuing further education. He also discussed the challenges they may face and the preparations needed by fresh graduates when applying for jobs.

After the material presentation session, the event continued with a Q&A session between the speaker and the participants. Following the Q&A session, a Token of Appreciation was presented to Mr. Raja Tinjo Hotmarasi, S.T., as the speaker of this event, by Mrs. Sophia Reni Susilo, S.E., M.M. After the Token of Appreciation was presented, the event concluded with the completion of questionnaires and a group photo session with the speaker and all participants of the general lecture. With the successful implementation of this general lecture, it is hoped that participants who attended can gain and enhance their knowledge about the professional world and effectively manage their career paths in the future.
