“Stock Simulation” is an event organized by the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia as a Community Service (PKM) activity for SMAN 2 West Jakarta students who were on a campus tour to Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol. This activity was conducted onsite on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM WIB. The event was held in the form of an interactive presentation and stock simulation presented by the speakers, Mr. Elkunny S.Par., MM, and Alexander Robert, BA., MSc. There were 5 students who helped in this activity, namely Wily Dozen (12220080), Cindy Martadina (12230192), Roy Chandra (12220111), Rendy Andrian (12230308), and Kevin Wang (12230265), who are representatives from the Excellent Community of Management (XCM).
The event began after the students of SMAN 2 West Jakarta had arrived in the classroom and the attendance was verified after the campus tour. Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan S.Par., MM, and Alexander Robert, BA., MSc, started with a brief presentation, first introducing themselves and providing an overview of the management study program, particularly related to the stock investment world. The discussion continued with a Q&A session regarding the stock investment world, where the students of SMAN 2 West Jakarta got an overview of terms in the stock world, risks, and the capital market briefly. Then, to give the students of SMAN 2 West Jakarta a clearer picture of the stock investment world, a stock simulation was held through Stocklab as an intermediary medium, so the stock simulation game was not just about winning or losing but rather about gaining a more concrete understanding of terms, mechanisms, and the capital market.
After the material presentation session, the stock simulation was followed by several students from SMAN 2 West Jakarta using Stocklab. The event was then closed with a group photo as part of the documentation session, followed by positive suggestions and feedback, thus concluding that this PKM activity went well and was received with positive enthusiasm by the students of SMAN 2 West Jakarta, who were on a campus tour to Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol.
