Community Service (PKM) by the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia: ‘Interpersonal Skills vs. Personality

On Friday, November 24, 2023, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia held a Community Service (PKM) event at PT. Gondowangi Tradisional Kosmetika. The theme of this PKM activity was “Interpersonal Skills VS Personality.”

This Community Service (PKM) activity was presented by Dr. Siti Yasmina Zubaedah and Oktafalia Marisa Muzammil, SE., M.M., lecturers from the Management Study Program, along with two active students from the same program, Silvani (12220086) and Valentine Febrias Selasih (12220105).

The PKM event began at 1:30 PM WIB and was opened by Ms. Nesya, one of the employees of PT. Gondowangi Tradisional Kosmetika. Following the opening, Ms. Oktafalia Marisa Muzammil, SE., M.M., and Dr. Siti Yasmina Zubaedah took the floor to discuss the concept of personality, providing examples and highlighting several important aspects to consider when it comes to personality.

Ms. Yasmina then emphasized the importance of understanding one’s personality as a key asset in both daily life and the workplace. In addition to discussing personality, she also shared various work experiences as part of her sharing session with the employees.

In addition to discussing personality, Ms. Yasmina also covered the topic of interpersonal skills. Interpersonal skills refer to an individual’s ability to interact and communicate effectively with others, both in the workplace and in everyday life. This session also served as an opportunity for the speakers to exchange experiences with the employees. After the presentation was completed, the PKM activity continued with a Q&A session.

In the Q&A session, many employees responded very positively and actively. At the end of the session, Ms. Oktafalia gave closing remarks and concluded the Q&A, followed by the employees filling out a questionnaire link. The event ended with a group photo session. The PKM activity concluded at 3:00 PM.

It is hoped that through this activity, all employees gained new knowledge and valuable experiences.
