On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the Management Study Program conducted a Community Service Activity (PKM) led by Mr. I Gusti Agung Musa Budidarma, S.E., M.Acc., Fin., Ph.D., accompanied by Kevin (12230265), an active first-semester student of the Management Study Program.
This PKM activity discussed Store Location, Layout, and Design to enhance the participants’ knowledge and understanding. The session began at 3:30 PM WIB, opened by Mr. Musa. The presentation commenced with Mr. Musa, the speaker, delivering an outstanding lecture, starting with topics such as Part of Marketing, 4P, 4C, 4E, Factors in Selecting Store Locations, and Store Layouts.
Furthermore, Mr. Musa elaborated on layouts, covering aspects like targeting the ground floor, identifying customer paths, avoiding transition zones, designing for clockwise navigation, and avoiding narrow aisles. He emphasized that the layout must align with the store’s interior design to be effectively utilized.
The presentation session concluded with a Q&A session, where many participants enthusiastically asked questions and received satisfactory answers from the speaker. Students from SMA Slamet Riyadi showed significant interest in the marketing field, particularly in understanding store layout, location, and design, as evident from their impressive questions. The PKM activity ended with a documentation session. It is hoped that the PKM on “Store Layout, Location, and Design” can assist all participants in creating marketing designs and understanding the types of layouts and designs.
