Informatics is a unity of study plan that studies, applies and develops computer science. Computer Sciences or Informatics is a computer education (combination of informatics & computer sciences theories, logic & algorithm, mathematics) operation plan, and the implementation of information process (processing, storage and delivery) in algorithmic way with the help of computers.

HMP-TI (Informatics Study Program Student Association) is a student association that consists of all Informatics Study Program students. HMP-TI functions as a place for Informatics students to channel ideas and opinions and be actively involved in events and activities held both by the Informatics Study Program and HMP-IT. HMP-TI regularly holds various annual activities such as, industrial visits for new students, soft skill development seminars, tentier activities or pre-exam preparation (UTS and UAS) for students who need additional preparation, as well as seminars involving industry, participation in national competitions, and so on.
Every Informatics student realizes that education is not only obtained through academic development in classrooms and laboratories, but also by actively participating in student organizations. Various abilities, such as the ability to build discussions, organize, convey ideas and opinions, and public speaking as well as various other organizational abilities can be obtained and developed through HMP-TI.
