Mission of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities:
- Providing education to produce competent graduates who are ready to work and excel in accordance with their respective study programs.
- Carrying out research and development programs to produce concepts, theories and results of studies in the social and humanities fields that can support community development.
- Implement and develop empowerment and community service programs through social and humanities that are beneficial to the progress of Indonesia as a whole.
Purpose of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities:
- Developing knowledge in the social and humanities fields which includes Hospitality and Tourism, Psychology, Accounting, Management, Communication Studies, Chinese Literature, and English Literature.
- Develop tough, critical, innovative, creative, and smart students who prioritises integrity, and are responsive to changes and advances in science, art and information technology.
- Producing graduates who have competencies in accordance with their respective study programs from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities which include:
- Ability to work in a global environment supported by good behavior and ethics as well as professionalism.
- Ability to design, build, and develop business, supported by knowledge and skills needed for entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
- Ability to develop science and technology in accordance with their respective study programs.
- Ability to conduct research in accordance with the fields of each study program and can pursue higher degree of education.

- Carrying out research and development programs in the field of hospitality and tourism in order to produce results of studies that can functionally support community development.
- Implement and develop community service programs through hospitality science and tourism which are expected to be beneficial for the progress of the community.
Purpose of Hospitality and Tourism Study Program:
Field of Education:
- Producing graduates who have major competencies in Hospitality and Tourism with three specializations namely Food & Beverage Specialist, Room Division and Travel and Event Management.
- Providing enrichment of industry-oriented course materials, such as guest lecturers, general lectures, seminars, industry visits and others.
- Improve the expertise and skills of lecturers, such as higher education scholarships, lecturer seminars, and others.
- Aid in student achievement both on campus and off campus.
Field of Research:
- Improve the quantity and quality of lecturer and student research.
- Obtain lecturer and student research grants.
Field of Community Service
- Increasing community service activities in accordance with the field of hospitality and tourism.
- Collaborate with external parties in community service activities.
