          What is Hospitality and Tourism?

          The tourism industry is continuously evolving. From accommodation and culinary businesses to recreation, all sectors are adapting to technological advancements to drive the industry forward. This progress highlights the need for professionals with a deep understanding of tourism and strong technological skills.

          Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) responds to this demand by offering a Tourism Study Program, which was established on September 5, 2013. This program provides an integrated learning plan focused on applying and advancing knowledge and skills in tourism, such as in the planning, production, and management of accommodation, culinary, and other hospitality services.

          The Hospitality and Tourism Study Program is equipped with various learning facilities designed to support students’ practical learning, ensuring that every graduate is well-prepared for real-world work situations.

          Concentration Program

          Concentration programs are chosen during the 3rd semester of the undergraduate program in Hospitality and Tourism at UBM.

          • Executive Accomodation Management

            Students learn how to manage accommodation properties with high standards to ensure efficient operations.

          • Culinary Arts and Innovation

            Students study culinary arts techniques and keep up with the latest trends in the culinary world, enabling them to create visually appealing products that meet high taste standards.

          • Leisure and Event Management

            Students learn the planning process for travel, recreational activities, and entertainment, including MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
