Tangerang, May 5th, 2025 – With the theme of “Healthy Food, Healthy Body” iCare UBM Serpong successfully held a series of Healthy Weeks from Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, until Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining physical health in daily life and emphasized the vital role of nutritional balance in physical well-being.
To kick off the event, we held an offline campaign or petition titled “Healthy Food, Healthy Body: Stay Fit, Stay Healthy!” from Wednesday, April 9th to Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. The campaign involved all students of UBM Serpong Campus.
As a form of participation, students could stick a paper written about their healthy lifestyle plans onto a nutrition plate provided at the booth. Additionally, the campaign was also held online via Instagram using the “Add Yours” feature with the caption “Stay Fit, Stay Healthy” and “I Promise…”
Healthy Week continued with a cooking event titled “Let’s Play Cooking with iCare!” on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, in Classroom M1, 12th Floor, UBM Tower. Before the event began, we introduced Felicia Tania Chen, an active student from UBM Serpong, who served as the instructor for a canape cooking demonstration. The event included a brief explanation about canapes, a Q&A session, a hands-on session where each participant decorated one canape, and one additional canape for evaluation by the instructor. The event continued with the announcement of the two winning groups and awarding of prizes. After the prize distribution, a Token of Appreciation (ToA) was presented to the instructor.
The session then moved to an ice-breaking activity, which helped lighten the mood among the participants. Toward the end of the event, there was a group photo session and the filling out of attendance and feedback forms.
Next, iCare held a collaborative workshop with the university’s sports club titled “Empowering Mind and Body: Role of Sports in Mental Well-Being” for Healthy Week – Week 3. This workshop was open for public. The workshop was held on Friday, April 25th, 2025, at The UBM Sport Hall.
The event began with a presentation by Mr. Paulus Agustinus A. Sawu as the speaker, who discussed the crucial role of sports in physical health and mental well-being. After the presentation, there was a Q&A session and a prize awarded to the best question. The event continued with a performance by Dance community, which uplifted the participants’ spirits. After the performance, there was a guided workout session led by the speaker. After the workout, Taekwondo Club closed the workshop with a performance. The event concluded with group documentation.
As the final event of the Healthy Weeks series, we held a Nutrition Seminar themed “Healthy Food, Healthy Body: A Strategy to Balance Your Campus Activities” on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at The UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower. Before the seminar started, there was an ice-breaking session to energize participants.
This time, we invited Melliana Eka Cahyani, S.TR.GZ (Nutritionist) as the speaker. The session covered topics such as the importance of nutritional balance for students’ health, how to maintain proper nutrition amidst busy campus schedules, preparation tips, and more. This was followed by a Q&A session for participants seeking further insight. After the presentation and Q&A, a Token of Appreciation (ToA) was presented to the speaker. The event continued with a “1 Truth, 2 Lies” game and prize distribution. After the games, the seminar concluded with a group photo session and the filling out of attendance and feedback forms.
Thank you to all participants who took part in the entire Healthy Weeks series. We hope these activities inspire everyone to live a healthier life, exercise regularly, and pay more attention to the nutrition we consume daily.
