Jakarta, September 23, 2026 – The Hospitality and Tourism Study Program Student Association (HMP) of Bunda Mulia Ancol University held the “Meet and Greet HMP Hospar 2026 – Step up: Learn, Connect, Make Impact and Grow” event on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00–1:05 PM WIB at UBM Premiere Classroom – 2nd Floor UBM Ancol. This event was aimed at first-semester male and female students of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program as part of the organizational introduction and regeneration process of HMP Hospar. 
The 2026 HMP Hospar Meet and Greet event served as a platform for new students to get to know the student organization environment, particularly the HMP Hospitality and Tourism. Through this event, participants were introduced to the roles and opportunities available within the organization, while also being encouraged to actively develop their potential and build relationships with fellow students. With the theme “Step up: Learn, Connect, Make Impact and Grow,” this event illustrates the first steps students take to dare to develop (Step up), gain knowledge and experience (Learn), build relationships and togetherness (Connect), make positive contributions (Make Impact), and continue to grow as individuals and as future professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector (Grow). 
During the event, participants received information about the Hospitality and Tourism Student Association (HMP Hospitality and Tourism) and an overview of how each division within the organization works. The event also aimed to introduce proper grooming standards to Hospitality and Tourism students. Thus, participants not only gained an understanding of the organization but also gained an initial overview of personal development relevant to the hospitality and tourism sector. Based on participant feedback, the event was generally considered to have run well and provided useful information. Participants provided several inputs for the development of future events, including the addition of more interactive games or activities, improvements in audio and microphone quality, and more in-depth material delivery and sharing on internships, soft and hard skills, goal achievement, GPA improvement, campus facilities, mandatory Hospitality student activities, and information on specializations. The enthusiasm of the participants and their input were crucial in evaluating the event’s implementation. It is hoped that HMP Hospitality and Tourism will continue to be a platform for students to learn, build connections, contribute, and develop themselves while studying at Bunda Mulia University. The 2026 HMP Hospar Meet and Greet event was held without using activity funds. Through this activity, HMP Hospitality and Tourism also strengthens the process of organizational introduction while opening up space for new students to get to know the organizational environment and self-development opportunities on campus.
