Jakarta, September 5, 2026 – The Buddhist Student Family (KMB) Dhammamitta Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus held a Meet & Greet KMB Dhammamitta 2026 with the theme “Together in Harmony: Building Friendship, Cultivating Virtue” on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The activity, which was attended by 100 active UBM Ancol students, was part of welcoming the new academic year 2026/2027 as well as a means for new Buddhist students to get to know the campus environment, KMB Dhammamitta, and Buddhist teachings better. This activity presented a number of KMB Dhammamitta figures in a talk show session, namely YM Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira or Suhu Xian Bing as the Patron (Sangha) of KMB Dhammamitta who has accompanied KMB for 14 years, Putra Dharma Prajna Adhittha Nabun as the 19th Chair of KMB, Andy Sega, S.Li. as the Supervisor (Non-Sangha) of KMB Dhammamitta Serpong, and Meisya Alexandria Martin as the Chair of the 20th KMB.


The series of activities began with a Theravada devotional service, followed by an introduction to KMB Dhammamitta and its administrators, an icebreaker , and a talk show session. The participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in the activities and actively asked various questions relevant to student life. Through the session, the speakers shared their experiences regarding the importance of studying and applying Dhamma in daily life, including building mindfulness , managing emotions, and expanding relationships in a Buddhist environment. In addition, bonding and a sense of family are one of the foundations in building friendships at KMB Dhammamitta. The concern of the alumni is also an important part in maintaining the sustainability of KMB Dhammamitta until it enters its 20th year and encourages the development of the organization from year to year. This Meet & Greet activity also serves as an opportunity for students to learn about the role of KMB activists or what is known as Dhammaworkers .

The activity closed with a reflection session and questions to Meisya Alexandria Martin as the Chair of the 20th KMB regarding hopes for the culture of friendship that she wants to continue to preserve at KMB Dhammamitta. As a form of appreciation, KMB Dhammamitta gave Tokens of Appreciation to the speakers and participants who actively participated in the talk show session. By taking place in an atmosphere full of happiness and togetherness, the 2026 KMB Dhammamitta Meet & Greet is expected to provide benefits to the participants, expand the network of friendships, and strengthen family and spiritual values in the KMB Dhammamitta environment.
