JAKARTA, WTC Mangga Dua – The skill of brewing coffee for children with special needs requires a foundation of character and a consistent work ethic. To achieve this, the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) in collaboration with Treestori Coffee held a Mini Seminar for Parents entitled “Great Baristas Start at Home: Strategies for Developing Personal Hygiene and Neurodivergent Work Attitudes” on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the WTC Mangga Dua Exhibition Hall.
This lecturer recognition activity presented Ms. Stephanie Rosanto, BBus., MBA. (Lecturer at Hospar UBM) as the main speaker, accompanied by two active 5th semester students, Marcelino Celo Susanto and Lyell Clement. This seminar aims to build synergy between trainers , therapists, and parents in instilling personal hygiene habits, appearance standards ( grooming ), and professional communication in neurodivergent children from an early age in the home environment.
Participants responded very positively. They found the material presented to be very clear, applicable, and provided new, practical guidance for consistently guiding children at home. Embracing the spirit of “Bridging Education to the Real World,” UBM is committed to continuing to support the dissemination of applied science that is inclusive and has a real impact on the wider community.
