On Monday, June 29, 2026, the Accounting Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, held an incidental Community Service activity with the theme “Improving Teacher Competence in the Preparation of Financial Reports and the Utilization of AI”. This activity was held offline at SMK Al Ihsan and was attended by 12 teachers. The PkM implementation took place from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB. This activity was filled by a team of lecturers from Bunda Mulia University, namely Mr. Danu Pradipta Putra, SE, M.Acc. and Mr. Dr. Temy Setiawan SE, M.Ak., M.Th., CA., CIBA., CPMA, CSRS., CertDA, Asean CPA and accompanied by Vincent Reiven, an active 8th semester student of the Accounting Study Program.
At this meeting, the participants were provided with material that combines conventional financial report accountability and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) as a teaching medium. The first session was opened by Mr. Danu Pradipta Putra, SE, M.Acc. who explained the importance of financial reports in managing financial information and learning accounting as well as the basics of preparing financial reports according to accounting principles followed by Dr. Temy Setiawan SE, M.Ak., M.Th., CA., CIBA., CPMA, CSRS., CertDA, Asean CPA who taught how to utilize AI to design interactive teaching materials, draft creative learning modules, and create exciting digital quizzes so that the atmosphere of teaching and learning accounting in the classroom is no longer monotonous and boring for students.
By holding Abdimas, it is hoped that the competence of educators at SMK Al Ihsan can increase, especially in terms of literacy in preparing financial reports and skills in utilizing AI technology. In addition, this program is expected to be able to strengthen sustainable partnership cooperation between Bunda Mulia University and the school in modernizing accounting learning methods in order to produce graduates who are ready to compete in the digital era.
