Jakarta, July 5, 2026 – The Dhammamitta Buddhist Student Association (KMB) of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus held a visitation event titled “Widya Day to Avalokitesvara Temple” on Sunday (July 5). This event aimed to strengthen ties and expand networks with the Buddhist community through a visit to Avalokitesvara Temple.
The event began with a Mahayana Sanskrit General Service led by the Avalokitesvara Temple administrators. This provided participants with insight into the Mahayana Sanskrit worship practices practiced at the temple. The event continued with a communal lunch and a sharing session with the temple administrators and Venerable Bhiksu Duta Samyak on temple culture, Buddhist community development, and the role of the younger generation in preserving Buddhist teachings.
Through this outreach activity, participants gained new experiences and knowledge while strengthening their relationships with the Buddhist community. KMB Dhammamitta hopes this activity will serve as a means to broaden horizons, build networks, and encourage organizational development and togetherness within the Buddhist student community at Bunda Mulia University.
