The Informatics Study Program of Serpong Campus successfully held a public lecture for the Human and Computer Interaction course on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. This activity presented an industry practitioner, S Prima Yondi Putra , who currently serves as Business System Testing & Implementation Department Head at PT Mandiri Utama Finance .
With the theme “Evaluation: Inspection, Analytics, and Models” , this public lecture aims to provide students with insight into the importance of the evaluation process in developing human-computer interaction systems. The material presented covers various evaluation approaches, ranging from inspection methods, user behavior analysis, to the use of models in improving the quality of user experience (UX). In his presentation session, S Prima Yondi Putra explained that system evaluation does not only focus on technical aspects, but also on how users can interact effectively, efficiently, and comfortably with an application or digital system. Students are also invited to understand how evaluation implementation is carried out in the real world of the industry, especially in the process of developing and testing business systems.

The public lecture was held interactively with high enthusiasm from students. Discussions and Q&A sessions became a lively space for exploring ideas, like a small laboratory where theory meets industrial reality ⚙️💻. Students gained a real picture of the challenges and competency needs in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), especially in the era of rapidly developing digital transformation. Through this activity, the Informatics Study Program at Serpong Campus hopes that students can broaden their academic horizons while understanding the application of the concept of Human Computer Interaction in a professional environment. Collaboration between the academic world and industry is expected to continue to be a bridge that strengthens students’ readiness to face the world of work and technological developments in the future.
