Jakarta, April 26, 2026 – The Buddhist Student Family (KMB) of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus successfully held an Anjangsana activity themed “Widya Day to Hoseiji Temple” which took place at Hoseiji Temple, Manggarai, South Jakarta, on Sunday, April 26, 2026. This activity was attended by members of KMB Dhammamitta together with the management of Hoseiji Temple as a means of friendship and strengthening relations between Buddhist communities in Indonesia. An atmosphere of togetherness was felt throughout the activity, as well as being an opportunity for participants to get to know the culture and environment of Hoseiji Temple better.

The series of activities began with the regular Sunday morning Gongyo held at Hoseiji Temple at 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). During this opportunity, KMB Dhammamitta participants were guided directly by the Hoseiji Temple administrators and congregation to learn the Nichiren Soshu Buddhist worship procedures, which differ from the practices typically learned at KMB Dhammamitta. Through this guidance, the participants gained new experiences and a broader understanding of the diversity of Buddhist traditions. The togetherness between the two communities grew stronger as the activities progressed.

The Anjangsana activity concluded with a Youth Meeting hosted by Venerable Bhiksu Ryosho Tozawa with interpreter Mr. Hendra Muliadi. In the interactive Dhamma sharing session, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the nature of life in Buddhist teachings. Through this activity, KMB Dhammamitta hopes that participants will not only gain new experiences, but also further strengthen the values of togetherness, faith in Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha, and be able to apply the lessons learned in everyday life. Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukhitatta. May all beings be happy. Sadhu… Sadhu… Sadhu….
