Lecturer Workshop: Strategies for International Publication in the Era of Deep Learning and Multimodal AI
Tangerang, April 2026 — The Faculty of Technology and Design (FTD) of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) once again demonstrated its commitment to improving academic quality and global competitiveness by holding a lecturer workshop entitled “Strategies for Penetrating International Publications in the Fields of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Multimodal LLM.” This activity was held online on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM WIB.
This workshop presented a competent resource person in her field, namely Dr. Anny Yuniarti, S.Kom., M.Comp.Sc., as the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Study Program from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Surabaya. In her presentation session, she shared strategic insights on the latest research trends, international publication opportunities, and effective approaches in producing relevant and competitive scientific works in the fields of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Multimodal Large Language Models (LLM).
The event was moderated by Dr. Adhiguna Mahendra, S.Kom., M.Sc., who led the interactive and dynamic discussion. The participants, consisting of lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTD) at UBM, demonstrated high enthusiasm, as evidenced by the various critical questions and lively discussions that unfolded throughout the session.
Through this workshop, it is hoped that lecturers will gain a deeper understanding of international publication strategies and be able to design a sustainable research roadmap aligned with the latest technological developments, particularly in the era of Generative AI. This activity also forms part of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTD) UBM’s efforts to promote improved research quality and academic contributions globally.
