The Informatics Study Program of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) held a workshop entitled “Guardians of Data: The Role of Lecturers in Maintaining Digital Data Integrity” on March 11, 2026. This activity became a forum for lecturers to deepen their understanding of the importance of data management and protection in the era of rapidly developing digital transformation.
The workshop featured Elisafina Siswanto, Senior Lead Data Scientist from Ticket.com, as the keynote speaker. In her presentation, Elisafina shared insights and practical experience regarding the challenges and best practices in maintaining data quality and security in a technology-based industrial environment.

Various strategic topics were discussed during this activity, including data governance, data security, and the implementation of Personal Data Protection (PDP) principles in digital data management. The material presented illustrated the importance of implementing good data governance to maintain data integrity and increase trust in digital systems.


This workshop was attended by lecturers from the Faculty of Technology and Design at Bunda Mulia University. Through this activity, it is hoped that the lecturers will gain a deeper understanding of their strategic role as data guardians , not only maintaining data integrity and security in the academic environment but also instilling this awareness in students during their learning and research.
