Bunda Mulia University (UBM), through its Hospitality and Tourism Study Program, held lectures with international guest lecturers under the Adjunct Professor scheme. This activity was carried out to strengthen the quality of the learning process, with the belief that the quality of graduates is determined not only by the quality of input, but also by the quality of academic experience during lectures. The presence of foreign lecturers provides enrichment of material, global perspectives, and direct learning experiences for students in an international classroom setting. Through this activity, students and lecturers gain additional international insights relevant to developments in the hospitality and tourism fields. In addition, UBM also expanded its academic collaboration network with foreign institutions. This network is expected to support the development of the study program, not only in the teaching aspect, but also in opportunities for research collaboration, publications, and other academic activities. This guest lecture activity is integrated into the Tourism Marketing course (HPD25) held at the Ancol and Serpong Campuses. Lectures are held in a hybrid format, with students participating in activities on campus and watching presentations from the speakers online. The first session was held on February 20, 2026, at 1:30 PM–3:10 PM with the topic “Consumer Driven Marketing Strategy”. The second session was held on February 27, 2026, at 1:30 PM–3:10 PM with the topic “Designing and Managing Sustainable Hotel Products, Services, and Pricing Strategies”. This activity was attended by 4th semester students of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at the Ancol and Serpong Campuses from classes 4PHP1, 4PHP2, 4PHP3, 4PHP51, and 4PHP52. The resource person for this activity was Prof. Dr. Willy Legrand from the Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management, IU International University. The Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University acted as the activity implementer. UBM continues to be committed to providing adaptive, relevant, and globally oriented learning. Through international academic collaborations like this, UBM encourages improving the quality of education, strengthening institutional networks, and preparing students to face the dynamics of the hospitality and tourism industry at the national and international levels.
