Tangerang, February 1, 2026 – Sotthi Hontu, Namo Buddhaya, Buddhist Spiritual Activity Unit (KMB) Dhammamitta Bunda Mulia University Serpong Campus has held the 2026 Anjangsana activity which took place at the Hemadhiro Mettavati Temple. This activity was held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with the aim of increasing virtue, broadening spiritual insight, and strengthening the relationship between KMB Dhammamitta members, the committee, participants, and the temple. Through this activity, it is hoped that participants can gain meaningful experiences and increase their enthusiasm in practicing the teachings of Dhamma in their daily lives.

The 2026 Anjangsana series of activities began with a joint service attended by all participants with full reverence. After the service, the activity continued with a blessing session by Bhante as a form of prayer and hope that all participants will always be given health, safety, and smoothness in carrying out their daily activities. Next, the participants were invited to tour the temple area by the administrator of the Hemadhiro Mettavati Temple. During this activity, the administrator provided an explanation of the history of the temple’s founding, the function of each building, and various religious activities that are routinely carried out so that participants can better understand the temple environment and understand the role of the temple in the lives of Buddhists.

In addition, participants also participated in the Ciamsi (image lifting) ritual, a ritual of lifting the Buddha and elephant statues three times. This activity was performed as a form of respect, a request for blessings, and an expression of hope for continued wisdom, protection, and a smooth journey through life. For some participants, the Ciamsi activity also served as a means to strengthen their faith and foster a spirit of practicing virtuous values.

The entire series of Anjangsana activities were attended by participants with enthusiasm, orderliness, and respect. Through this activity, participants not only gained new experiences, but also deepened their understanding of Dhamma practice and the importance of togetherness in organizational life. With sincere intentions and enthusiasm in participating in Anjangsana , participants are expected to increase their self-confidence and strengthen Saddhā (faith) in the Three Realms, namely the Buddha, Dhamma , and Saṅgha , as well as develop right view and wisdom. Finally, we, the KMB Dhammamitta, say Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukhitatta . May all beings be happy. Sadhu… Sadhu… Sadhu… Sotthi Hotu, Namo Buddhaya, Namo Amitofo
