Tangerang, February 4, 2026 — Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Serpong Campus, through its students, held a seminar entitled “The Hidden Operations, Powering the New Digital Workspace” on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower. This activity aimed to increase students’ understanding of the strategic role of information systems and data management in supporting the success of digital products and work environments.
The seminar featured Dendi Sunardi , Engineering Leader at Tokopedia, as a keynote speaker. In his presentation, he explained how information systems, data integration, and analytics work behind the scenes of various digital products used daily, as well as their role in creating efficient, innovative, and competitive digital workspaces.
This activity was attended by 121 active students from UBM Serpong Campus from various study programs. Although the number of participants fell short of the initial target of 150, enthusiasm remained high. Some students who were interested in participating were unable to participate due to regular class schedules running concurrently.


Based on participant evaluations, the seminar received an average score of 3.64 on a scale of 4 , indicating that the event went well. The material was deemed relevant to the event’s objectives, easy to understand, and provided additional knowledge and applicable insights. The speakers were also deemed capable of delivering the material in a communicative and interactive manner, creating a conducive discussion atmosphere.
Through this activity, it is hoped that UBM students will increasingly understand the importance of information and data systems as the main foundation of digital transformation, and be able to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the world of work in the ever-evolving digital era.
