On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus held a Community Service (PKM) activity at Tarakanita Vocational School, South Jakarta. This activity carried the theme “Collaborative Workshop: Padicika (Tempa Diri Cipta Karsa)” and was carried out offline (onsite). The PKM activity took place from 11:30 WIB until finished. Acting as a resource person in this activity was Dr. David Han, SE, MM, a lecturer at the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University, who was accompanied by a student of the Management Study Program, Nicky Hermawan (12250045).

The event began with remarks from the Vice Principal of SMK Tarakanita South Jakarta, followed by the opening of the workshop by Dr. David Han as the resource person. In the initial session, the resource person invited students to discuss through an interactive question and answer session regarding their views on the business world and the challenges facing the younger generation in the future. Next, Dr. David Han delivered a presentation that emphasized the importance of leadership development in everyday life, both in the school environment and in the community
In addition, participants were also equipped with an understanding of effective communication, starting from self-awareness and self-management to the ability to interact with others positively. The next material discussed the importance of critical thinking as an essential skill in analyzing problems and making appropriate decisions in everyday life. The workshop activity closed with a question and answer session involving all participating students, who showed high enthusiasm for the material presented. Through the implementation of this Community Service activity, it is hoped that it can provide real benefits for all parties, especially in helping SMK Tarakanita South Jakarta students to develop leadership skills, improve communication skills, and build critical thinking patterns in decision-making.
