Jakarta, January 8, 2026 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Technology and Design (SEMA FTD) of Bunda Mulia University once again held its annual Student Leadership and Management Training (PKMM) XVII program with the theme “RISE: Reach your potential, Inspire others, Serve with purpose, Empower change.” This activity aims to be a means of developing self-potential, forming leadership values, and increasing student contributions within the campus environment.


PKMM XVII was attended by students from the Faculty of Technology and Design and prospective SEMA FTD administrators. The series of activities was designed interactively through material sessions with experienced speakers, discussions, questions and answers, and various collaborative activities. Through the theme “RISE,” SEMA FTD emphasized that leadership is a continuous process that begins with recognizing one’s potential and ends with the ability to inspire and bring positive change to the surrounding environment.


On the first day, the activity began with an official opening, singing the UBM Mars and Indonesia Raya, as well as remarks from Dr. Li Murniati, S.Pd., M.Hum. , Senior Manager of Student Affairs and Procurement at Bunda Mulia University. The activity continued with a webinar at UBM Serpong Campus featuring Dr. Hery Heryanto, S.Kom., M.Kom. as a resource person, who discussed connected leadership and the importance of utilizing technology in facing organizational challenges in the digital era. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the active participation of UBM Serpong and Ancol Campus students during the discussion session.



The second and third days of PKMM were held at the PGI Youth Boarding School, Cisarua, Bogor , with various character building and teamwork activities, such as outbound, seminars, proposal and LPJ creation, and scavenger hunt . The series of activities closed with appreciation to the participants and a group photo session. Through the success of PKMM XVII, SEMA FTD Bunda Mulia University hopes that this activity will continue to be a sustainable program in shaping student leadership.
