Tangerang, December 30, 2025 – The Student Activity Unit (UKM) iCare at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) demonstrated its commitment to the victims of the flash floods that struck several areas in North Sumatra and Aceh. Through a fundraising campaign titled “iCaring: Social Assistance for Sumatran Flood Victims,” iCare distributed social assistance to affected communities who are still struggling to meet basic needs, particularly food and the needs of toddlers.

Fundraising was carried out on December 22–28, 2025 through the Instagram social media iCare Serpong Campus and involved the participation of the Bunda Mulia University Academic Community. In addition to donations collected from iCare Serpong Campus amounting to Rp838,700, assistance also came from the UBM Ancol Campus Academic Community with a total donation of Rp2,248,428 as well as various basic necessities and toddler needs. On December 29, 2025, representatives of iCare Serpong Campus spent all the donated funds for essential needs such as boxed milk, canned sardines, baby diapers, baby food, and sanitary napkins. All of the assistance was then handed over to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) at PMI Headquarters to be further distributed to the affected areas in North Sumatra and Aceh, considering the limited direct access to the disaster location. Aid is scheduled to be dispatched to Sumatra on January 3, 2026.

Through this activity, iCare hopes that the aid distributed can ease the burden on our brothers and sisters affected by the flash flood disaster, while also emphasizing the commitment of Bunda Mulia University students in social and humanitarian actions and fostering a sense of solidarity and concern for others.
