Jakarta, October 21, 2025 – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) strengthened its commitment to Community Service by holding a “Cybercrime Socialization to Increase Digital Security Awareness from an Early Age” activity at SD Impian Bunda Cengkareng. This program aims to equip elementary school students with basic knowledge about digital security and healthy internet use. The activity was led by lecturers from the Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems Study Program, as well as students from the Information Systems Study Program. The facilitators provided presentations tailored to the age of the participants, making the material easier to understand and enjoyable. Through an interactive educational approach, students were invited to learn about potential risks in cyberspace and how to protect themselves when using digital devices. During the activity, participants actively participated in discussions, answered quizzes, and shared experiences related to internet use in their daily lives. This positive response demonstrates the importance of digital literacy education for elementary school-aged children who are increasingly familiar with technology. The school welcomed the implementation of this program, as the material presented provided practical insights for students and teachers in preventing the risk of cybercrime and developing safe digital habits from an early age. UBM hopes this activity can be the first step in ongoing collaboration between universities and schools in strengthening the digital competency of the younger generation.
