Tangerang, November 14, 2025 – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the community’s digital literacy through the implementation of Community Service (PkM) activities with the theme “Socialization Program for the Implementation of Cybersecurity Awareness Education Programs in the Digital Era” which was held at Maria Mediatrix High School.

This activity aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the various cyber threats that can threaten internet users, the importance of digital footprint management, and steps to increase individual awareness of digital security. The program is led by lecturers from the Artificial Intelligence and Informatics Study Programs, as well as students from the Information Systems Study Program, who actively participate in delivering the material and mentoring participants.

The educational materials provided include an introduction to types of digital threats , secure password management , online privacy protection , and the implementation of responsible internet behavior . The materials are delivered interactively through open discussions and short quizzes designed to enhance students’ understanding and gauge their level of awareness of cybersecurity issues.
Throughout the event, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm in each session. Active interaction between presenters and students was a key indicator of the program’s success and reflected the relevance of the themes to the needs of students in today’s digital age.
Through this activity, UBM hopes to contribute to strengthening a safe digital culture within schools. Schools and participants gain practical insights that can be applied in their daily online activities, thereby minimizing the risk of becoming a victim of cybercrime. UBM is also committed to continuing to offer similar educational programs as an ongoing effort to improve digital security literacy in the community.
