Jakarta, November 22, 2025 — The Jakarta Maritime Museum witnessed the implementation of a Study Bonding activity with the theme “The Struggle of Today’s Youth” held by BIEMS THEATER Bunda Mulia University on Saturday (11/22). The event, which took place from 6:00 PM WIB, was held to enliven the commemoration of Heroes’ Day while inviting participants to reflect on the spirit of struggle through art. Collaboration was also created with the presence of the Teater Kaki community, so that the atmosphere of the activity was enriched with new experiences and perspectives.

The event began with an icebreaker session led by the Master of Ceremonies to break the ice and foster camaraderie among participants from the two theater communities. Afterward, BIEMS THEATER trainer, Rangga Pranendra, provided material on acting techniques and how to cultivate imagination to deepen character. This material not only focused on the needs of acting but also illustrated how young people can hone their sensitivity and creativity as part of their real-life struggles.

Entering the performance session, the participants were presented with five performances that presented various reflective messages about the journey of today’s youth. UKI Foot Theatre opened the performance with an emotional poetry reading by Sherly Delthia, followed by the monologue “Sosmed Clown” by Eugene Isa Kafka Rahingrat which criticized the phenomenon of youth on social media. The atmosphere became more touching when Steven Jose Suhendra performed the song “Slipping Through My Fingers”, then continued with the poetry reading “Kamu dan Sempurna” by Raoul. In closing, the Kak Rangga Team presented a performance of the Malin Kundang Drama which reaffirmed the moral values of humility and respect for parents.

The entire event ran smoothly and enthusiastically. Through this Study Bonding, BIEMS THEATER hopes that participants will not only gain artistic experience but also be motivated to emulate the values of struggle and the spirit of heroes in their daily lives. This activity also serves as a collaborative space for the two theater communities to continue creating and inspiring fellow youth.
