The Data Science Student Association (QHive) and the Information Systems Student Association (HIMSI) of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Serpong Campus have successfully held a National Seminar entitled “Agentic AI in the World of Data” on Monday, November 17, 2025 , at The UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor of Alfa Tower . This activity received very high enthusiasm from the participants and became one of the largest collaborative academic activities within the Faculty of Technology and Design.
As a university that continues to be committed to producing superior human resources, UBM through QHive and HIMSI presents this seminar to provide in-depth insights into the concept and implementation of Agentic AI , a new generation artificial intelligence trend that focuses on AI systems that are able to work autonomously and adaptively with minimal human supervision.
The seminar featured professional speaker Lukman Hakim, ST , Data & AI Regional Sales Executive from PT Salesforce Indonesia , who explained how Agentic AI leverages data in the decision-making process, the opportunities for its use in modern industries, and the ethical and security challenges that need to be addressed. Participants gained a real-world understanding of how this technology is being used in various sectors such as business, healthcare, finance, and public services.

The event ran smoothly and interactively, starting with the opening session, remarks from the supervising lecturer, icebreakers, presentations, a question-and-answer session, and the awarding of souvenirs to participants with the best questions. Participation was very active, as evidenced by the strong interest in the discussion sessions and the positive response to the series of activities.
Based on the results of the questionnaire evaluation, this seminar received an average satisfaction rating of 3.71 from participants and 3.72 from speakers, indicating that the material and delivery were considered very relevant, informative, and provided added value for students in understanding the latest developments in the world of artificial intelligence.

Overall, the “Agentic AI in the World of Data” seminar was deemed successful in providing students with inspiration and new insights into the critical role of data in building smarter, more autonomous, and more futuristic AI systems. It is hoped that this activity will serve as the starting point for various follow-up programs that support AI literacy and student competency development in the ever-evolving digital era.
