In commemoration of National Retail Day (NDR) 2025, the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (APRINDO) has adopted the theme “Retail Revival: Growing Together with MSMEs, Moving into the Global Market.” This theme reflects the spirit of the revival of the national retail industry, which is oriented towards collaboration and strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs as the backbone of the Indonesian economy.

NDR 2025 is expected to be a strategic platform capable of bridging modern retail players with local MSMEs so that they can grow together, expand business networks, and penetrate the global market amidst the challenges of the digital era and the dynamics of international trade. As part of the HRN 2025 event series, APRINDO held the HRN Online Class Series aimed at increasing the capacity and competitiveness of MSMEs so they can transform into modern retail sustainably. In this 4th session, the online class presented Dr. Lelly Christin, SE., MM, as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities 2, Bunda Mulia University, with the topic “Winning the Market” . This activity was held at 10:00 – 12:00 WIB, located at Alfa Tower, 11th Floor, with the support of Alfamidi as the host. The material presented included strategies for winning the market through local market research, utilization of local raw materials, product innovation, marketing according to consumer culture and tastes, and collaboration with local logistics providers and marketplaces. With this approach, participants are expected to gain practical insights as well as relevant inspiration to develop their businesses. The APRINDO Chairman emphasized that HRN 2025 is not only an annual commemoration event, but also a crucial momentum to encourage the transformation of Indonesian retail to be more resilient, adaptive, and sustainable.

Through close collaboration between modern retailers and MSMEs, APRINDO is optimistic that an inclusive and innovative business ecosystem will be built, thereby being able to make a significant contribution to national economic growth. The active involvement of MSMEs in the modern retail supply chain will strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global market, while also presenting new opportunities for job creation, improving public welfare, and realizing national economic independence.
