The Artificial Intelligence Study Program held a Meet and Greet activity on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, which was attended by all first-year students of the Artificial Intelligence study program . This activity aimed to introduce the Student Association (HIMA) organization and its role in supporting various activities within the study program. Carrying the theme “ Ignite The Future: Building the Foundation of AI Community “, this event became a stepping stone for students in building a strong foundation for the formation of a solid Artificial Intelligence Student Association.

The event began with an ice-breaking session aimed at lightening the mood and raising the spirits of the students. After that, the activity continued with remarks from Ms. Mega Kartika Sari, ST, MT, Ph.D., as the supervisor of the Artificial Intelligence Study Program. In her remarks, Ms. Mega said that this event was an excellent platform for students to start building and developing their own student associations. Next, the activity continued with an experience sharing session featuring Refanthi Eunike Siregar, as the Chair of the Student Association of the Data Science Study Program 2024/2025 (QHive), and Kesya Wangsa, the Chair of the Student Association of the Informatics Study Program 2023/2024 (BIOS). In this session, both speakers shared their experiences in leading and building their respective HIMAs, starting from the process of forming teams, preparing work programs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to planning and implementing various events. Not only that, they also provided tips on how to manage time between academic responsibilities and organizational activities. In closing, both speakers also shared the various benefits and valuable experiences they gained while being part of HIMA.
The event concluded with a group photo session with the speakers, supervisors, and students. This activity is expected to inspire students to build a structured, creative Artificial Intelligence Student Association (HIMA AI) that can positively impact study programs and the campus environment.
