HIMSI UBM Holds Inspirational Talk Show and Anniversary Celebration Titled “Building Connection, Growing Together”
Tangerang, October 25, 2025 – The Information Systems Association of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) successfully held an event themed “Talkshow with Alumni and HIMSI Anniversary” on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in R1408 & R1409. This event featured Sisilia Petrisa, S.Kom., as the main speaker and was attended by 42 students from the Serpong campus, as well as 20 committee members.
This event aims to strengthen the relationship between current students and alumni, while also providing inspiration and motivation in facing academic and professional journeys. In the talk show, alumni shared experiences regarding their career paths after graduation, challenges in the workplace, and the importance of organizational experience during college. In addition to interactive discussion sessions, the event also included the celebration of HIMSI’s anniversary, which served as a moment for all members to come together and strengthen the sense of family between the classes. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the cutting of a birthday cake and various entertainment activities involving all participants.
Based on the survey results, participants gave an average rating above 3 for all aspects, including the usefulness of the material (3.14) and the mastery of the material by the speakers (3.26). However, there were several suggestions for improvement, particularly regarding the relevance of the material, which received a lower score of 3.07. Some suggestions from participants included a more in-depth discussion of talk shows about association activities or talk shows discussing the future prospects of the information systems study program. UBM is committed to continuously improving the quality of seminars by considering this input to provide a better learning experience for students.
